European consumers were warned this week to be vigilant about what brand of toothpaste they used as some brands made in China have been found to contain anti-freeze, which could pose a risk to health.

The European Commission made the decision this week to withdraw two brands of Chinese toothpaste, Spearmint and Trileaf Spearmint, over fears that the solvents used in these product may pose a moderate poisoning risk to consumers.
