What is the Kalme range?

Kalme is a naturally active specialist skin care range designed specifically for skin prone to
rosacea, redness and sensitivity.

The Kalme range is designed to cover all the skincare needs of skin prone to rosacea and
redness.

The Kalme range includes rosacea cream (day with SPF25 and night), a de sensitising base
cream, a rosacea cleanser and a rosacea redness correcting treatment concealer.
The whole Kalme range has been dematologically tested for skin prone to rosacea, redness
and sensitivity.

The products in the Kalme range can and should be used in conjunction with one another.
Other products or medications for rosacea should not be used in conjunction with the Kalme
products if maximum effects want to be achieved.

Vegan and free-from chemical nasties/perfumes

KALME skincare is100% vegan, cruelty-free and FREE from parabens, perfumes, SLS and
MI and is made from naturally active ingredients that have been clinically tested for highly
sensitive skins and skins prone to redness and sensitivity.

Anti-redness/sensitivity/Concealing
KALME products contain a patented caper extract called Derma Sensitive, which has been
proven in clinical trials to reduce skin redness and sensitivity by up to 70%.

tone-matching technology and airbrush-effect particles for correcting redness and uneven

UV protection
KALME Day Defence SPF25 and KALME Chameleon Concealer SPF20 both contain pure
mineral SPF protection for very sensitive skin.

24-hour Moisturisation and Reduced capillary leakage Prebiotics
KALME products contain a patented ingredient called Indinyl, that has a certified 24-hour
moisturising action to combat skin dryness and dehydration.

Antioxidant/anti-inflammatory
The KALME skincare range also includes a patented antioxidant called NDGA, that is up
to100 times more effective than vitamin E, C or grape seed and proven in clinical trials to
reduce skin inflammation and combat spots.

KALME skincare contains Glycyrrhizin, an extract of liquorice which has been found in
laboratory studies to reduce inflammation, promote mucous secretion, soothe irritation, and
stimulate adrenal gland activity.

KALME contains an extract of Perilla oil which is derived from the seed of the plant Perilla
frutescens. It is a very rich source of alpha-linolenic acid - about 50 to 60% of perilla oil is
alpha-linolenic acid. Alpha-linolenic acid is an omega-3 fatty acid which is highly beneifical to
skin and has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti fungal effects when
applied topically

repair the skin barrier and reduce capillary leakage

Water-free and moisturising cleansing
KALME Cleanser is a water-free cream cleanser designed to help reduce redness (including
rosacea), skin sensitivity and reduce dryness while gently removing all make-up, sun creams
and dirt.

Water-free cleansing better for red and sensitive skin because if you have very sensitive, red
and dry skin, cleaning your skin too often with water or using chemical make-up removers
may make existing skin conditions worse.

Many people with problem skin admit to washing their faces several times a day in order to
try and help their skin feel clean and fresh.

However if you are suffering from very sensitive skin, skin prone to redness and dry skin,
washing your face twice daily with warm water can actually make your skin worse rather
than better.
