Rosacea is such a complicated skin condition to manage that even famous people who’s budget and expert attention to their appearance knows no bounds still find hard to control.

Rosacea is an inflammatory skin condition that causes red flushed cheeks, nose and forehead and can be accompanied by small pustules, bumpy skin and patches of dry skin.

It can occur in many different skin types but its most common in pale Northern European skin types and in particular in people with fair or red hair.

There is no one-stop treatment for rosacea. Successful management of it usually involves some medication when bad flare up occurs. This combined with a strict skin care routine involving unperfumed and low chemical product ranges that help reduce symptoms and are deigned for very sensitive skin and avoiding heavily scented or chemical skincare products and cosmetics can help. Our Kalme Range of Rosacea creams helps reduce your skin's reactivity.

Several lifestyle changes such as avoiding direct sun, always wearing sun block, avoiding spicey food and too much alcohol and generally trying to avoid sudden changes in skin temperature such as washing the face with hot or cold water can also help manage the condition.
