Good for: Washing without irritation. Children have very sensitive skins which is much thinner than adults. It is important to wash but not at the risk of using harsh detergents which can strip the skin. Cotton&Silk Body & Hair wash was formulated to clean without harshness and to leave the infant's skin fresh without any irritation. It is designed to help with very dry and eczema prone skin.
Safety: It has been undergone trials by a dermatologist to ensure that it is safe for use on children and that none of the carefully selected ingredients cause any irritation to sensitive skins.
What does it contain: It contains a mixture of moisturising and soothing ingredients including omega fatty acid rich cotton seed oil. Research has found that a lack of some of the fatty acids found in cotton seed oil can contribute to childhood eczema. It is rich in Silk Seritain a protein found in silk. This is another ingredient which can help to lock in moisture in dry skin.
How natural is it: The body wash is practically natural. So the main active ingredients are natural and most of the other ingredients are either natural or derived from natural ingredients. The product has been formulated to give a reliable cleansing effect without causing irritation to very young skin, while only using natural ingredients which do not cause irritation or increased sensitivity. The Wash is free from chemicals such as parabens, lanolin, artificial perfumes, irritating emulsifiers and other unnecessary synthetic ingredients.
Quality: We sent this product out to many testers and used their feedback and comments to create a baby range which works for real parents and their kids. We listened to them about the thickness and lightness of the lotion. So that we made it a little bit thicker. We were told that it needed to be really soft and silky so we incorporated this type of skin feel. Finally we were told that all mum's want to know it's safe. So we had it tested by a dermatologist to make sure it was suitable for sensitive skins.
Directions: Work to a mild lather and wash baby's skin and hair. Rinse gently. Avoid contact with the eyes. Always follow with Baby Lotion to seal in moisture.
